This past month I was fortunate to attend PlannerTech and Meetings Technology Expo, both in New York City. Although both events were based on the same theme, the approach and the audience, was different for each, which made it even more interesting for me.

PlannerTech was held at a conference center, whereas the Meetings Technology Expo was held at a small hotel. The former was presented similarly to Ted Talks and had a trade show component. The latter, had a Keynote, followed by concurrent breakouts. Both had a lunch. However, the Meetings Technology lunch was held in the Tradeshow area and was followed by one on one meetings with the different exhibitors. One could sign up for different time slots in advance. Both events were very good, but in different ways. I’m not going to critique or rate them, as my purpose in this blog is to share with you what I think are the best and most useful of the apps that I saw. I am describing them in a random order.
