In the first stages of discussion with a client about their event or meeting, we discuss the option of using LED Lighting in the event production for both stage lighting and room decor.

There are 2 factors when about LED Lighting that make it a good choice for event production. The first is low energy consumption and the second is  RGB (Red, Green Blue) infinite color mixing. The amount of power consumption and control capabilities are very dynamic. The light output is extremely bright and the lower power consumption is very important. If your event is in an older venue that can't handle a lot of lighting or the venue imposes heavy fees for power, the lower power use is a great plus. LEDS can draw 25% of traditional lighting. Of course, the fact that you're being "green" is the best of all. When we are producing an event all of this is taken into consideration.

You also can have a myriad of  color combinations with LED RGB color mixing. (Red Blue Green LEDs mixing together). With a single LED lighting fixture  you can find the right LED Stage Light for your application.LED lights are extremely versatile.

For meetings or events, which are short term or temporary, LEDs work really well. There are also many types of LED fixtures manufactured now which gives lighting designers lots of choices.

When we first used LEDS in event production, about 3 years ago, the variety was limited, but we loved what we could do with them and the fact that they used so much less power.

I enjoyed your post about utilizing LED lighting for professional events. Having the right kind of lighting is extremely important when planning for a professional event. LEDs will provide the right kind of lighting while saving on energy. It is a win win situation because you can reduce your carbon footprint while saving on energy costs. I have only worked with Sharp for a short time, but I have always been impressed with the quality of products that they have to offer. If you are in the market for lighting, I recommend you check out their LED lighting
