We all know how effective a good team-building program can be for an organization. What is truly exciting and gratifying is what happened when we were producing and implementing an event recently. We partnered with a wonderful producer form Colombia, Juan Rubio, for this large and complex event production. Teamwork began as soon as we began creating the event together. Many Skype calls later we had a plan. He had dozens of meetings with his client in Colombia.

With all the parts of the event from venue sourcing, food and beverage, fashion show production, décor, entertainment, aerialists, confetti launch, video, mapping, webcasting, satellite feed to Colombian TV, check in, VIP seating, gift bags and a couple of hundred staff on site from set up to strike and load out, we had the best team ever.

Our key technology vendors, staging, set, audio visual, rigging, lighting net with our technical director several times. Why? Everyone wanted to do the best job possible, seamlessly and safely.

The event went off without a hitch, thanks to the best venue staff, all vendors, crew and staff. Although, I doubt that we could sell this as a team-building event, but it certainly couldn’t have happened with a cohesive team.

Who could ask for anything more!

Click on the Colombia Knows Best Tab for a video of the event as well as a fascinating time lapse video of the evetn from set up through strike.

Here is a link to a time-lapse video that shows about 28 hours in 8 minutes and will give you an idea of what occurred in the ballroom and please enjoy some photos on our Facebook page from our Colombia Knows Best Event. ht.ly/ckDZm
